In the game of craps since the chip trays at the table are pretty small, what do I do when it gets full?

Do I have to leave the table, cash out and then come back? How does that work? For instance, for a person winning a high number of chips, how do they manage this? Do they make you leave the table so as to conserve space? Just curious to know how all of this works. Thanks.
